Camping Village

What are the booking policy?
You can confirm your reservation by sending a deposit amounting to 30% of the final price within 7 days from the date of your booking request. 
Your reservation is ultimately confirmed only when you will receive a "CONFIRMATION" by email. Any late arrival or early departure imply the payment of the full amount. 

Can I cancel my reservation? 
Yes, you can. Cancelations made within 7 days of the day of your arrival can have the refund of full amount of the deposit minus Euro 50.00 of booking fee. (example: reservation from 10/06 to 17/06, you can cancel up to 02/6 h. 23.59). 

After this period, the deposit will not be refunded. 
What time is the check-in? 
Check-in for pitches goes from 15:00 until 22:00. 
Check-in for mobil-homes goes from 15:00 until 23:00. 
What time is the check-out?
Check-out for the pitches is expected by 11:00.
Check-out for the mobile-homes is expected by 10:00.
Late check-out can be requested with a price supplement. 
Is it possible to deposit luggage at the camping before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, it is possible to have luggage storage by requesting it at the reception only after you have emptied the accommodation during check out.

Is there a internal parking? 
Yes, it is possible to park only one car in your pitch; for the accommodations there is a reserved place numbered inside.

If I have a second car, where can I park it?
Any additional cars can be parked free of charge in the parking spaces reserved for guests of the camping in the dedicated external areas. 
Is there wifi connection in the camping area? 
Yes, it is possible to have the wifi connection by purchasing a card at the reception. 

Location

Where is the Camping Village located? 
The Camping Village is located in Sottomarina Lido, in Viale Agostino Barbarigo, 103. 
How far is the historic centre of Sottomarina and how do I get there?
The old town of Sottomarina is about 3km from the camping village.

By bike: from the camping village at the beginning of the Lungomare Adriatico it is about 1km (5 minutes), here you will find the bike path alongside the promenade for 2km to Piazzale Italia (10 minutes).

By bus: from the camping village to the bus stop (Viale Mediterraneo – Stop Sottomarina Vespucci – Line 5 ) you have to walk 1km (15 minutes). Take line 5 and get off after 9 stops at Sottomarina Milano (7 minutes). A few meters away you will find Piazzale Italia.

By car: free parking with a white line along the streets of the old town, 3 km from the camping village. Alternatively, paid parking along the promenade which is located near Piazzale Italia and the streets of the center.
How far is the historic centre of Chioggia and how do I get there?
The old town of Chioggia is about 5km from the Camping Village.

By bike: from the camping village at the beginning of the Lungomare Adriatico it is about 1km (5 minutes), here you will find the bike path alongside the promenade for 2km to Piazzale Italia (10 minutes). At the Piazzale Italia roundabout continue straight on via Roma, crossing Isola dell’Unione via the cycle path. Continue straight on Calle Ponte San Giacomo until you reach the main square, Corso del Popolo.

By bus: from the camping village to the bus stop (Viale Mediterraneo – Stop Sottomarina Vespucci – Line 7) you have to walk 1km (15 minutes). Take Line 7 and get off after 11 stops (9 minutes) at Isola dell’Unione. Cross the two bridges and walk along Calle Ponte San Giacomo for 200 metres.

By car: paid parking, with possibility of internal parking, in Isola dell’Unione (Park Unione, daily ticket Euro 12.00). Paid internal parking in Località Saloni (Park Giove, daily ticket Euro 12.00), passing via Granatieri di Sardegna.
How far is Venice and how do I get there?
The city of Venice is 35km from Sottomarina, 52km by road. There are several ways to reach it.

Public transport
Bus: from the camping village to the bus stop (Viale Mediterraneo – Stop Sottomarina da Verrazzano – Line 80 of Arriva Veneto) you have to walk 1km (15 minutes). Take line 80, get off at the last stop, Piazzale Roma, Venice (1 hour and 10 minutes).

Vaporetto: the vaporetto dock is located in Piazzetta Vigo, Chioggia (see how to get to Chioggia in the previous question) about 5km from the camping village. From Piazzetta Vigo you have to take the ACTV vaporetto number 11 to Pellestrina (25 minutes). In Pellestrina, take bus no. 11 that coincides with the arrival of the vaporetto and get off at the last stop, Santa Maria Elisabetta, Lido di Venezia (45 minutes). From Santa Maria Elisabetta take the vaporetto number 5.2, get off at Piazzale Roma San Zaccaria (25 minutes).

Private transport
Vaporetto: the boat dock is located in Isola dell’Unione, Sottomarina (see how to get to Isola dell’Unione in the previous question) about 4km from the camping village. From Isola dell’Unione take the Raffaello Navigazioni vaporetto and get off at Piazza San Marco, Riva degli Schiavoni, Venice (1 hour and 30 minutes).

By car: paid parking at the Garage Municipale and Garage San Marco in Piazzale Roma, Venice; Interparking Italia in Isola Nova del Tronchetto, Venice; San Giuliano parking with tram to Piazzale Roma in Mestre, Venice.

Food & Beverage

Is there a restaurant inside the Camping Village? 
Yes, there is a restaurant inside the Camping Village. It is open every day for lunch and dinner from the opening day to the closing day.
In the same place there are also: pizzeria, bar and ice cream parlour.
Is it possible to have half board?
Yes, it is possible to request it directly to the restaurant. 
What type of cuisine do you do? 
We offer a type of cuisine linked to local and Italian typicalities, with particular attention to the seasonality of the products.
What about allergies and food intolerances? 
The kitchen and pizzeria are not equipped to prepare gluten-free meals, but the menu can be adapted according to the guest’s request.
Is there a market? 
Yes, there is a mini-market inside the camping village. It is open every day from 7:30 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19:30 from the opening day to the closing day. You can also find the bakery, salami counter, various foodstuffs and products for the care of the person.

Swimmingpool

How many swimmingpools are there? 
The Camping Village has a swimming pool for adults with a diving area, and a swimming pool for children with a maximum depth of 50cm.
When will the swimmingpools be open? 
The swimming pools are open approximately from mid-May until the camping village closes.
What are the swimming pool hours?
The swimmingpools are open everyday in the morning from 10:00 to 12:30, and in the afternoon from 15:00 to 19:00. 
Do you need a swimming cap? 
No, swimming caps are not mandatory. 

Activities

Is it possible to rent bycicles? 
Yes, it is possible to rent bicycles at the reception of the Camping Village (subject to availability).
Do you have bycicles for children? 
No, we do not have bicycles for children but it is possible to request the installation of a rear or front seat depending on the child’s weight (up to availability).
Is there animation? 
Yes, we have an animation team that performs daytime and evening activities from Monday to Saturday for adults and children. The activities are guaranteed in the months of June, July and August.
At what age can children join the mini club?
Children must be at least 5 years old in order to partecipate in the mini club activities. 
Are there playgrounds and sport fields? 
Yes, the Camping Village has: 2 playgrounds, 1 soccer field, 1 beach volleyball court, 1 basketball area, 2 bocce courts and 2 table tennis tables.
At about 250m from the campsite there are two tennis courts (for a fee).

Pets

Are pets allowed? 
Pets can only be brought into the pitch, in the dedicated areas. It is therefore not possible to bring them in the mobile-homes. 
We ask you to let us know in advance, at the time of booking. Please note that with due respect to all guests, access to some common areas (swimming pools, playgrounds, sports areas) of the camping is not allowed. 
Are pets allowed on the beach? 
Pets are allowed on the beach during the low bathing season.
During the peak bathing season it is forbidden to bring pets to the beach, except in the designated areas.
