Visiting Venice
What you need to know for your excursion to Venice
For the year 2026, the Access Fee to the historic center of Venice remains in effect. The applicable fees are:
- €5.00 per person for those who pay the access contribution by the fourth-to-last day before the day of access.
- €10.00 per person for those who pay the access contribution after the fourth-to-last day before the day of access.
Please note that the fee must be paid by daily visitors (those staying outside the city of Venice) who wish to enter the "Old City" or historic center of Venice (excluding Lido di Venezia, Murano, Burano, Torcello, and Pellestrina).
The contribution will be applied from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on the following dates:
April 2026: 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30
May 2026: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31
June 2026: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28
July 2026: 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26
May 2026: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31
June 2026: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28
July 2026: 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26
The payment must be made online through the dedicated website https://cda.ve.it/en/, which will issue a personalized QR code to be presented upon request.
The following categories are exempt from the Access Fee:
- Individuals born and residing in the Municipality of Venice
- Residents of the Veneto region
- Minors under the age of 14
- Persons with disabilities
